The Buffalo Bills achieved their second consecutive victory on Sunday, beating the Tennessee Titans 34-10. Despite the convincing win, several starters suffered injuries during the game.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard, who has already missed several games this season, left the field multiple times—once due to a head injury and again because of an ankle injury. Fellow linebacker Dorian Williams exited in the second half with a knee injury but managed to return.
After the game, coach Sean McDermott provided an update on the injured players as the team heads into practice week. “We’ll see how they do. Really no updates at this point,” McDermott noted. “We’ll monitor how the week goes for all three of those guys.
On the offensive side, receiver Curtis Samuel played only two snaps before leaving the game with a shoulder injury and did not return.
” Losing Bernard and Williams would be a significant blow for Buffalo, as Williams is currently fourth in the NFL in tackles, while Bernard ranks fourth on the Bills despite missing two games. If either or both are sidelined, the Bills could face a considerable gap in their defense.
Samuel’s injury is less concerning, as his role has diminished following the acquisition of Amari Cooper last week. However, if Samuel is out for an extended period, Buffalo could lose valuable depth in their receiving corps as the season progresses.
