Amari Cooper Ready For More In Bills Offense

Amari Cooper, a four-time Pro Bowl receiver with several 1,000-yard seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cleveland Browns, is now with the Buffalo Bills. With All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen leading the team, expectations for Cooper are even higher.

He made a strong debut after being traded, catching four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s 34-10 win over the Tennessee Titans. Although he was targeted just five times, Cooper believes he deserves a larger role soon. “Absolutely. I think that’s why they traded for me.

I’m definitely ready for an increased role and more opportunities,” Cooper said Thursday, as reported by Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. “I’m eager to take advantage of it.”

Buffalo plans to increase Cooper’s touches and playing time through better preparation and practice together, which alleviates any concerns at this stage. “It’s about hearing the plays more and seeing them more. That’s really it, plus communicating with Josh [Allen] and the rest of the team,” he explained.

Allen and Cooper’s relationship will be very important for the Bills to gain further success down the road. And that means getting him the ball even more for going forward.
