Cowboys Announces Return Of Their Major Contender From A Devastating Injury

The Cowboys are set to host the Giants on Thursday.

The Dallas Cowboys ended their lengthy losing streak on Sunday, securing their first victory in over a month with a win against the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium.

The Cowboys face a quick turnaround this week, hosting the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving Day. They’re also close to getting a crucial player back on the field.

According to CEO Stephen Jones, the Cowboys are optimistic that wide receiver Brandin Cooks will return to action for the first time in seven weeks, as reported by Bleacher Report.

“We’re optimistic that we’ll continue to get guys back. I think Cooks will be a player for us (on Thanksgiving),” Jones stated.

Brandin Cooks to IR; Will miss at least 4 games

This season, Cooks has recorded 91 yards and one touchdown on nine receptions.

Unfortunately, the outlook is less promising for tight end Jake Ferguson, who remains in concussion protocol after leaving the Week 11 game against the Texans. He’s unlikely to play on Thanksgiving.

The nationally televised matchup between the Cowboys and Giants is set to kick off at 4:25 PM EST in Arlington.
