Breaking: Baylor Bears Lands Another Blockbuster Commitment Of a Top Notch Player From a Good Team

Lancaster (TX) linebacker Ke’Breion Winston has committed to Baylor following his unofficial visit over the weekend. He becomes the 20th commit in Baylor’s 2025 recruiting class and the fourth linebacker, joining Kaleb Burns, Bo Onu, and Trent Spence.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Winston chose Baylor over offers from Pitt, Cal, Arizona State, Arkansas, Illinois, Boston College, and Houston, among others.

Winston’s recruitment was initially led by former Baylor linebacker coach Christian Robinson until he left for Alabama, after which Jamar Chaney took over. Winston originally committed to Cal in May but took official visits to Arizona State, Illinois, and Arkansas. Chaney continued to recruit Winston even after he was committed to the Golden Bears, and after Winston de-committed in late September, Baylor emerged as a strong option.

Winston is a consensus three-star recruit according to national recruiting sites.

As National Signing Day approaches on December 4, Baylor’s 2025 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 34 in the nation.
