Just In: Bills Are Set To Sign Chiefs Star Subsequent To NFL Season

The Buffalo Bills head into a pivotal NFL offseason after falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Buffalo finished the season with a 15-5 record, securing playoff victories over the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos.

Buffalo fell to the Chiefs 32-29, marking their fourth consecutive loss to Kansas City during the Patrick Mahomes era.

With the season concluded, the Bills now shift their focus to free agency.

A recent free agency prediction by Jacob Camenker of USA Today projected the Bills to sign Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid.

Reid has been with the Chiefs since 2018, holding the role of the team’s starting safety for his entire seven-year NFL career.

In the 2024 season, Reid recorded two interceptions, two quarterback hits, five tackles for loss, nine pass deflections, and 87 total tackles.

Adding Reid would significantly strengthen the Bills’ secondary. Buffalo currently starts Damar Hamlin at free safety and Taylor Rapp at strong safety.

During his time with the Chiefs, Reid played a key role in helping Kansas City secure two Super Bowl titles alongside safety Bryan Cook.

Before pursuing free agents, the Bills must make roster adjustments and potentially restructure contracts. However, adding Reid would address a significant need for Buffalo.
