Breaking: Former Packers Top Talent Bridged 2 Years Massive Deal

The Green Bay Packers understand that their 2025 offseason will be closely examined for years to come. After making back-to-back playoff appearances, the team remains confident in its future. However, many analysts believe they are still a few key pieces away from becoming true championship contenders.

Meanwhile, one former starter secured a lucrative contract with a new team.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, running back Aaron Jones has agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract to remain with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jones originally joined the Vikings on a one-year, $7 million deal last offseason after rejecting a pay cut from the Green Bay Packers. His move added him to a growing list of former Packers who have joined their divisional rival, including Brett Favre, Greg Jennings, and Ryan Longwell.

Despite concerns about his injury history and nearing his 30th birthday, Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell initially planned to use Jones in a committee role. However, Jones quickly emerged as the team’s feature back, delivering one of the most active and productive seasons of his career.
