Zaid Lott, a skilled three-star quarterback from the 2026 class, announced his verbal commitment to Syracuse football on Tuesday through his X account.

Earlier, the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Lott had verbally committed to North Carolina, another Atlantic Coast Conference school, under the leadership of head coach and NFL coaching icon Bill Belichick.
As per his X page, Lott recently visited Syracuse football and received a scholarship offer from head coach Fran Brown and his excellent staff on March 23. He had previously verbally committed to the Tar Heels in late June of the previous year.
